About Us

Welcome to Lumo

A beacon of hope and progress in the landscape of employee mental wellbeing

Founded on the belief that mental health care should be as routine and accessible as physical health care, Lumo is the embodiment of a vision shared by Dr Kate Robinson, an experienced and respected clinical psychologist, and Mirsad Mustovich, a tech savvy business consultant.

Together, they launched Lumo with a singular vision: to boost employee wellbeing through preventive digital tools and immediate access to the very best therapists.

Built to meet
insurer challenges

Through hundreds of hours of therapy with patients referred through PMI providers we found that many claims could have been avoided through a proactive and preventative approach to mental health.

Encouraging members to engage with improving their mental fitness in much the same way that they do with their physical health gives insurers the dual benefit of reducing overall claims costs and enhancing retention by improving member engagement and reducing premium pressure.

Which is why we built Lumo to be the all in one mental health solution your members will love.
  • Weekly check ins with all members through Lumo Assist to encourage engagement with and understanding of their mental health

  • Individually curated mental wellbeing resources including video, audio and articles

  • Built in triage gives quick access to therapists following successful completion of your pre-authorisation requirements

Experience the
Lumo difference

By taking an innovative approach to mental health support for insurers we’ve created clinical pathways that include digital tools with clinical excellence at scale.

Our unique Active Care model supports members across the mental health continuum with personalised digital tools and self care programmes embedded within clinical pathways. Ensuring that mental health support is available to all and not just those in need of therapy we integrate journalling, goal setting and an AI powered wellbeing assistant into every member journey.
Our network of therapists means that we can ramp up to meet any demand to ensure high levels of satisfaction and clinical outcomes while keeping costs low for our insurer partners.
  • Preventative digital first clinical pathways engage members, build loyalty and increase retention

  • 65% users use Lumo to stop mental health worries from escalating, reducing the need for expensive therapy sessions
